Sustainability at CBE
At CBE, we believe that building for the future means being responsible with the present. Sustainability isn’t an add‑on — it’s woven through everything we do, from material choices to manufacturing methods.
Responsible sourcing
All our wood is supplied by trusted sources like Hanson Plywood, whose environmental policy emphasises sustainable forest products, renewable natural resources, and legally‑verified timber. Their commitment includes third‑party certifications (FSC®, PEFC, FLEGT) and a certified chain of custody so we know the materials we use support healthy forests and ethical trade.
Reusable, modular design
We design stands and interiors that can be reused, reconfigured, or repurposed. This reduces waste, minimises material consumption, and gives you more value over time without compromising on visual impact or quality.
In‑house production to reduce emissions
From joinery and printing to graphics and install, everything is done in‑house. This reduces transportation between multiple suppliers and helps us monitor energy use and resource efficiency at every stage.
Reducing carbon footprint & operational waste
We track and manage emissions across our operations, from energy usage to delivery. Inspired by suppliers like Hanson Plywood, who report on solar power generation, electric vehicles in their fleet, and high levels of operational recycling (86% of waste recycled in their 2024 operations).
Certifications & continuous improvement
We strive for environmental standards and certifications. As our business grows, we look for ways to improve: better materials, smarter production, and more sustainable energy usage.
